July 24, 2011 - We, the LWCC Reborn Youth, had celebrated our first year in the ministry God given us! We have experienced so much difficulties during the preparation but the enemy cannot hinder the presence of God from falling fresh on us! The multipurpose hall was filled with youth from different places here in Manila - most visitors were unbelievers who surrendered their lives to God that night. This is an incredible experience to all of us here in Reborn. Pastor Delia Dalby shared a strong message that night and the worship team led the worship with incredible passion. There are also special presentations and dance numbers from different departments of the youth. Everyone has felt the presence of the Lord. Everything was worth the hardship. Glory to God and happy 1st anniversary Reborn!

Yakap Bata Outreach is the first major project of Reborn Youth this year. The location will be at Yakap Bata Holding Center at Caloocan (NCR, Philippines) and will be held on March 27. This is a holding facility for young offenders and juveniles. Some of the children there have no parents to take care of them, some have been rejected by their parents and some have been held by their parents to the facility to rehabilitate them. One thing I know for sure is that these children needs help and love, love from God. We are God's body, His love is shown through actions and we are the ones who need to act. God never wants that these children fall into the hands of the enemy and continue in doing crimes. We will share the good news as well as give these children help for their needs in the said facility.
These children needs:
Garterized shorts without pockets
Loose t-shirts
Bath soaps
Toothbrushes and toothpastes
Fever, colds, medicines
We will also give them bibles.

July 28 - Yakap Bata Outreach is now regularly being held every last Sunday of the month, everyone from Reborn Youth, ages 16 or above, is welcome to join this ministry. A ready and passionate heart towards God and His creations are the only requirements. Please see Pres. Nicole Ricafranca for those who want to join.
I am quite busy this past few months. Straight to the point.

We have a regular youth fellowship every second and fourth Sunday, 4:00 PM, also including the fifth Sunday if ever there is. We have very exciting topics there. This is not the conventional youth fellowship most of us already knew, this fellowship is an actual "fellowship". That's right, we just don't speak and you listen, you also speak and we listen and then we and you minister at the same time, not to mention the eating fellowship at the end, oops, just kidding. Pastor Ed Lapiz is a great preacher and he likes to talk about practical things and daily living, he even promotes the Filipino culture as well. Forming for the first Planetshakers Conference in 1997, Australian Christian Worship band, Planetshakers is passionate to see generations worldwide unite together to worship God. Their heart is to see people encounter God, be transformed by his presence and empowered to make a difference in their world.
Hailing originally from Adelaide, the Planetshakers Band is now based in Melbourne at Planetshakers City Church, under the leadership of Senior Pastors Russell and Sam Evans.

First Day
• To all keyboard students, just remember the 1-5-4 positions for the major chord on the keys, 1-4-5 for minor chords, your assignment is to draw all the natural (no sharp, no flat) chords.
• To all guitar students, master the first two faces of the barred chords I have thought you this Sunday because you need those to master all the chords.
• Bass students, practice memorizing the notes on the fretboard and practice finger picking (index and middle finger). As to Nicole, I have already given you an exercise on hammer-ons.

LWCC to be Affiliate witth Foursquare Gospel Church
Recent meetings have confirmed that Life in the Word Christian Church will be affiliating with the Foursquare Church in the Philippines. Please expect more more activities and sudden changes in the church.

We want to congratulate the new youth president, Ms. Nicole Emily Ricafranca, as the Lord has appointed her. She was appointed president this 27th of July 2010. God bless you miss president!

After a very busy February we can now resume the regular bible studies, still at Sundays, 5 pm. Unfortunately, I and Cela will not be available by the next Sunday due to the rescheduled piano lesson. NJ, will be the speaker of the next bible study so watch out for it.
A few hours before, we've been to The Path of Life Christian Fellowship and there was a lot of joy in the Holy Ghost (Adrian??? :P) and we're all blessed. We've also missed Ptr. Jon-jon Icban and his family. If I can just extend my gratitude to you guys right now...

Guitar training will also be on next sunday 2 pm. Venue will be decided by this week. Also, Worship Night this Friday, don't miss it.
